Vag Com Install Problem

hi all

i have got a littel net book and tried to download the vag com, it did it ok i plug in the usb bit and followed the ross tech guide, when i got to the bit where you go to the hard drive vag com folder for the drivers when i click on the vagcom folder i cant get it to go any further,

 

i cant copy the folder as it wont let me, so it wont find the drivers, when i typed the folder in it came back and siad there was nothing there for me to install.

i can open the programme now and click options, when i test the ports the one labled usb it says port ok interface not found i do this on the com 1 2 3 4 and its the smae, its as though it cant find the interface.

i have re installed it but its the same i have reloaded the softeware from ross tech but still nothing.

on my other laptop i plug it in and it finds the interface on the usb port straight away
